Saffron Crocus (Crocus sativus):

Saffron is one of the most expensive spices worldwide, and it comes from the saffron crocus flower. India, especially Kashmir, is known for producing high-quality saffron. The labor-intensive process of harvesting the delicate saffron threads makes saffron highly costly.

Blue Vanda Orchid (Vanda coerulea):

The Blue Vanda Orchid is a rare and exotic flower native to the Eastern Himalayas. Its attractive blue color and unique appearance make it highly popular among orchid enthusiasts and collectors, driving up its price.

Black Tulip (Tulipa spp.):

Although not native to India, black tulips are considered among the world’s most expensive flowers. These deep, velvety tulips are quite rare, and due to their scarcity, their price can be high in the Indian market.

Kadupul Flower (Epiphyllum oxypetalum):

Also known as the “Queen of the Night,” the Kadupul flower is native to Sri Lanka but is also found in India. It blooms only at night and is highly fragrant. Its short lifespan and exquisite beauty contribute to its rarity and cost.

Blue Himalayan Poppy (Meconopsis betonicifolia):

This stunning blue poppy is native to the Himalayan region, including parts of India. Known for its mesmerizing blue petals, it is a favorite among gardeners and collectors, making it relatively expensive.

Gloriosa Lily (Gloriosa superba):

Also called the Flame Lily, Gloriosa Lily is native to India and other parts of Asia and Africa. Its vibrant red and yellow flowers are both beautiful and toxic. Due to its striking appearance, it is often used in floral decorations and can be costly.

Kurinji Flower (Strobilanthes kunthiana):

This flower blooms only once every 12 years in the Nilgiri hills of South India. It has gained fame for its rarity and stunning purple-blue flowers, making it a sought-after botanical wonder.

Although these flowers are among the most expensive found in India, their prices may vary based on factors such as rarity, demand, and regional availability. Detailed information about each flower, its cultural significance, cultivation methods, and more will be needed for an in-depth understanding.
