Nainital shows the natural view of India. The word “Nainital” is made of two words: “Naini” meaning eyes, and “Tal” meaning lake. Nainital is a famous tourist spot where people from India and abroad come to visit and enjoy the weather there. Nainital is surrounded by mountains from all sides and has a lake known as Naini Lake.

Also, there is an ancient temple of Goddess Naina Devi that makes Nainital famous. This interesting view of Nainital is very beautiful and attractive. The nearest railway station to Nainital is Kathgodam Railway Station. From Delhi, trains are easily available for this station. Other options like car and bus are also available from Delhi to reach Kathgodam. It is located about 300 kilometers from Delhi. By bus, Nainital can be reached in around 8 to 9 hours.

The nearest airport to Nainital is Pantnagar Airport. But the air services here are limited in number. That is why people find trains to be a more accessible option. When we reach Nainital, right in front of the lake is a board that says (I ❤️ NAINITAL), which shows the love of people for this tourist place. At the entrance of the lake, there is also a statue of Mahatma Gandhi, symbolizing peace and patriotism. The water of the lake is clean and one can see small and big fishes swimming in it. Visitors are not allowed to feed them so that the water remains clean, and tourists can enjoy a clean and tidy environment. Tourists should also take care and preserve such beautiful places of their country for future generations as a gift and lesson. Boating is also available in Naini Lake. The cost for one full round is about ₹210 and for half round is ₹160. Around 3 people can sit in one boat. While boating, a complete view of Nainital can be seen. During monsoon, clouds float just above Naini Lake and can be seen very closely. This view looks so beautiful and heart-touching as if we have reached heaven. One special thing about Nainital is that most tourist spots are close to each other. Scooters, bikes, etc., can be rented near Naini Lake to visit nearby places easily.
